Outdoor Learning Made Easy – Introduction to Forest School Ethos & Principles

We are very excited to be running the very forest summer teacher training course in Forest School through the auspices of the Kildare Education Centre. We applied and got permission to run this Teacher Summer Training course through the Kildare Education Centre.

We will be working with 18 teachers from the locality and further afield. This course will be practical, site-specific, we will be based in the woods of Castletown House for the week, engaging in a variety of practical activities such as leaf & plant identification, creating habitats for wildlife, cooking in the outdoors, risk assessments, and health & safety with groups in the outdoors and a variety of woodland crafts.
